Community Ministry Opportunity
Below is an opportunity for your church, Sunday School class, youth group, Senior Adult group, etc. to serve our community. Contact information is listed in the announcement:
This Christmas Season, we are in need of volunteer organizations and individuals to assist with fund raising for the Salvation Army. We will be ringing bells at both doors of the Weatherford and Hudson Oaks Wall Mart stores on selected days between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Organizations may assist by volunteering to staff a door, or a store, for one or more days during this drive. Individuals may assist by volunteering for one or more two hour shifts.
This year the need is especially great. Your volunteer assistance is needed and you will be blessed.
All kettle funds stay in Parker County. There is absolutely no administrative expense, 100% of the funds support those in need through Meals on Wheels and Manna.
DATES:
November 27, 28 and 29 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
December 3, 4, and 5 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)
December 10, 11, and 12 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)
December 17, 18, and 19 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday)
December 22, 23 and 24 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
TIMES:
All days except Christmas Eve: 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Christmas Eve: 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
PLACES: Weatherford Wal-Mart, Weatherford Super Save, Hudson Oaks Wal-Mart
There are a total of 440 two hour shifts available. Our goal is to staff all of them.

Supper: 5:45pm – 6:45pm
Second Session: 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Highlights:
1. Combined choir in second session. Meet for rehearsal at 6:30pm in the Sanctuary.
2. Missions testimonies.
3. Transition Team report including a revised constitution, new bylaws, and new organization plan.
4. Two churches will be presented for membership in the Association.
5. 2010 Budget proposal.
